This children's poetry book 'Growing Up' is intended to help young people aged 7 yrs - 13 yrsto look at issues of everyday life . It is ideal for parents to read to children, or teachers to use at school when dealing with emotions and social aspects of everyday life.
Dr Coatesworth continues her lifetime's psychotherapeutic work in the medium of gentle rhyming verse - many of which are written as metaphorical stories - each with a relevant message for today's children. The book contains 78 poems and 26 of the poems are illustrated from original watercolour pictures by David S Earnshaw - commissioned especially for the poems. These are delightful pictures - shown in the directory.
